Aloha

Sam and I had a wonderful week in beautiful Hawaii. It was very hard to think about leaving Blake for a week, but once we actually got on the plane and were on our way we were ok. We never had to worry once about how Blake was doing because we knew he was in the best of hands with Grandma and Grandpa Baptista. He didn't even know we were gone....he slept through the night every night and even took 2 naps every day and my mom said when he would go down it was almost a guarantee that he would sleep for 2 hours! Holy smokes, he doesn't even do that good at home! he was as happy as a clam :)

We went to Hawaii because 2 of our friends were getting married and Sam was asked to be a groomsman. at first we were only going to fly out for the wedding, but then we decided to splurge and stay the week. if you are going to fly all the way out there, you might as well enjoy it for awhile right? We stayed at our favorite spot in Napili...seriously the best place, especially for families. I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else...why would you want to....

We spent the week snorkeling, eating at our favorite sushi place, lounging by the pool and hanging out with our friends. it was very relaxing and a much needed vacation!

By the last couple of days we were more than ready to get home and see THE BOY! Sam even threw out the idea of taking the red-eye a night early so we could get home and spend the whole day with Blake. we decided against it and enjoyed the last night of our vacation. Blake was excited to see us when we got home, but I really think we missed him more than he missed us!
