Holidays

It's hard to believe Christmas has come and gone and now it's 2012!  I absolutely love this time of year and I was pleased to find myself enjoying it again.  Last year I wasn't sure I would ever have a love for the holidays like I once did.  Once again, I find myself so thankful for our sweet girl.  She gives us so much to smile about, and warms my heart when I need it most.

Christmas was a bit different this year.  We actually lounged around a good portion of the morning, waiting for Shawna and Jason and families to come over.  It was so quiet...kind of odd, but it was nice at the same time.  No offense to anyone!  just made the morning last a bit longer and not be so crazed.  Once they all made it over, then the chaos started.   Jason and Leslie hosted the big Baptista Christmas this year and they did such a nice job.  It turned out so nice at their house.

After Christmas we spend the week and New Years in Tahoe.  Reese got some solid quality time in with my family.  It was the first time that she seemed to prefer my mom, or my sister or my sister-in-law over me!  She finally got to know everyone and it was obvious how much she loved everyone being around.  I am so mad at myself for not taking my camera out once while we were in Tahoe!  I know I missed out on capturing some great memories. A big shame on me is earned!  I did get one photo on my phone...
